Chicken Bacon One Pot Pasta
Ingredients: 2 tbsp olive oil
2 chicken breasts, diced
10 strips bacon, finely diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 can chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 lb. penne pasta
2 tbsp chives
1 tbsp parsley
juice of 1 lemon
parmesan, to serve
Preparation: Add olive oil in a high-sided pan and cook chicken until sealed and browned slightly. Remove from pan. Add bacon to the same pan and fry until nicely crispy, about 10 minutes. Add garlic powder, pepper and salt. Add chicken, broth, and cream, turn the heat down low and add pasta. Cook for 20 minutes or so, or until completely absorbed. Stir through herbs and squeeze in lemon. Finish with parmesan.
