Dog Treat: Birthday Cake     

Ingredients:
1 egg
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup whole wheat or white flour
1 tsp baking soda

Preparation:
Step 1)
Preheat the oven to 350F degrees. Grease a 6-cup ring mold or fluted tube pan.

Step 2)
Combine egg, peanut butter, oil, and vanilla in a large bowl; blend well. Stir in carrots until well combined. Sift together flour and baking soda and fold into carrot mixture. Spoon cake batter into the prepared pan.

Step 3)
Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
