Smoked Sausage Cajun Alfredo
Ingredients: 1 pkg. Smoked Sausage, diagonally cut into 1/4” slices (we like Hillshire Farm American Craft Smoky Bourbon sausage)
8 oz. pasta, cooked, drained
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation: Begin boiling water for pasta. At the same time, sauté sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning occasionally. When water begins to boil, add pasta to water. Add cream and Cajun seasoning to sausage; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture begins to thicken (about the same time the pasta is done). Remove sausage mixture from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese. Drain pasta well, add to sauce and toss.
