Korean BBQ Short Ribs     

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. sake
2 Tbsp. mirin
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. sesame seeds
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 green onions, sliced
pinch black pepper
1 lb. beef short ribs

Preparation:
Rub ribs with brown sugar and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Combine all remaining marinade ingredients in a bowl large enough for the ribs and stir until combined. Add short ribs to the marinade for at least 1 hour. Drain well before grilling. Grill short ribs until meat is just done and caramelized. Serve with banchan and steamed rice.
