Creamy Turkey Soup
Ingredients: 1 large onion, chopped
3 celery ribs, cut into 1/4" pieces
6 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1 1/2 cups milk
4 cups cooked turkey
3 medium carrots, shredded
1-2 cups chicken broth
Preparation: In a large kettle, sauté onion & celery in butter until tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in flour & seasonings; gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add turkey & carrots. Add enough broth until soup is desired consistency. Cover & simmer for 15 minutes.
